Maggie Baumann, MA, is a Marriage, Family Therapist Intern specializing in children, teen, individual, couples, group and family psychotherapy. She maintains a private practice in Newport Beach, California, in the Fashion Island circle. She has over 4000 clinical hours working with clients with a variety of life-challenging issues.

Maggie works under the supervision of psychiatrist Monisha Vasa, MD, • A89717. Dr. Vasa is board-certified in general and addiction psychiatry.  

Maggie has conducted therapy groups in the community on women's issues, eating disorders and body image. She worked several years as an eating disorder/addictions therapist at the Victorian of Newport Beach. Maggie also has a special interest in trauma, adoption and attachment disorders. Maggie is a board member of the Orange County Chapter of International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals and is a published author in eating disorder recovery. She also participates as an active member of the California Association of Marriage Family Therapists (CAMFT) and the National Eating Disorder Association. Additionally, Maggie is certified as a domestic violence counselor.
